Aku premium lures
Skipjack tuna, known as aku in Hawaii are a prized fish for sashimi and poke. Easily identified by their belly stripes, aku grow up to 50# but are generally caught in the 15-20# range. Their smaller size makes these fish a prime target for larger predatory fish. Tetsuo lures’ aku heads have hand-craved and slip inlayed stripes, a blue/purple color blend and ultra iridescent black top. Like all our lures, these aku heads are made from durable vitrified ceramic refractory, are keel weighted and have great run action.
